NFL lockout

The NFL has been in a long dispute with its players. the dispute reached a new level this year when the United States judicial system got involved in the matter. After a long back and forth between both sides there has been a lockout of all NFL players. In order to try and make sure there is a league there has been a three week cushion put into place so no games will be missed during the season. some people think this is unnecessary because there is going to be a league.

I think that there is no point in doing this either because i think there is going to be a league. too much money will be lost for both sides of the case in order for them to shut the league down. do you think there will be a league?

  1. I agree with Nick. The owners and the NFL cannot afford to lose all that money they get from playing. They will not hold out very much longer. The two sides will come to an agreement.

  2. I agree. The NFL can't afford to lose all the profits from the games and merchandise. I think its ridiculous how the players are complaining to get more money. They already make millions of dollars so now there just being selfish.
